Ashley Michele Greene was born February 21, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She is best known as Alice Cullen in The Twilight film saga.

Ashley made her acting debut in a 2006 episode of Crossing Jordan starring Jill Hennessy, Miguel Ferrer, Steve Valentine, Jerry O'Connell, Ravi Kapoor, Kathryn Hahn, and Ken Howard.  This was followed by an appearance on MADtv with Ike Barinholtz, Frank Caliendo and Crista Flanagan, Bobby Lee, Daniele Gaither, Nicole Parker, Keegan Michael Key, and Jordan Peele.

Also in 2006, Ashely landed the recurring role of Renata in the television show Desire.  She co-starred with Zack Silva (Alex Thomas), Kelly Albanese (Cara Gamarra), Vivian Gray (Suzy Edwards), Joe Tabb (Marco Manetti), Sofia Milos (Victoria Marston), Michelle Belegrin (Andrea Zavatti), Tanisha Harper (Heather), and Al Bandiero (Peter Evans ).

Greene went on to star in King of California co-starring Michael Douglas, Evan Rachel Wood, Paul Lieber, Willis Burks II, Laura Kachergus, Kathleen Wilhoite, Arthur Santiago, Anna Khaja, and Anne L. It was in 2008 that Ashely landed the role of Alice Cullen in the vampire romance, Twilight.  She co-starred with Robert Pattison (Edward Cullen), Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Billy Burke (Charlie Swan), Gil Birmingham (Billy Black), Nikki Reed (Rosalie), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Christian Serratos (Angela), Anna Kendrick (Jessica), Cam Gigandet (James), and Kellan Lutz (Emmet Cullen).

After Twilight, Ashely went on to appear in Shrink co-starring Kevin Spacey, Mark Webber, Joe Nunez, Saffron Burrows, Keke Palmer, and Jack Huston (2009); and the starring role in Summer's Blood co-starring Peter Mooney, Barbara Niven, Stephen McHattie, Paul Whitney, Peter Michael Dillon, and Sean Tucker (2009).

In 2011, Greene starred in the film A Warrior's Heart co-starring Kellan Lutz, Adam Beach, Gabrielle Anwar, William Mapother, and Chord Overstreet; and Butter co-starring Jennifer Garner, Yara Shahidi, Hugh Jackman, Alicia Silverstone, Ty Burrell, Kristen Schaal, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Rob Corddry (2011).
