Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, California.  She is most famous for playing the role of Bella in The Twilight Saga.

Kristen got her acting start in a brief uncredited appearance in the 1999 TV movie The Thirteenth Year co-starring Chez Starbuck, Justin Jon Ross, Courtnee Draper, Dave Coulier, Tm Redwine, Brent Briscoe, and Lisa Stahl.  This was followed by another small part in the 2000 film The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas co-starring Mark Addy, Stephen Baldwin, Kristen Johnston, Joan Collins, Jane Krakowski, Alex Meneses, Alan Cumming, Harvey Korman, and Thomas Gibson.

In 2001, Kristen landed her first credited film role in The Safety of Objects co-starring Glenn Close, Dermot Mulroney, Joshua Jackson, Mary Kay Place, Patricia Clarkson, Robert Klein, Moira Kelly, and Timothy Olyphant.  This role was followed by her critically acclaimed performance in the 2002 film Panic Room co-starring Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, Dwight Yoakam, Jared Leto, Ian Buchanan, Ann Magnuson, and Patrick Bauchau.
