HOT - Rachel Bilson

Rachel was born August 25, 1981 in Los Angeles.  She is probably most famous for playing Summer Roberts on the TV show The O.C.

Rachel has a legacy of acting in her family.  Her Grandfather was a director and her Great Grandmother was a screen writer.  She got her nudge into Hollywood appearing in commercials for the Subway restaurant chain.  She also did a few spots for  Raisin Bran and Pepto-Bismol.

Rachel made her TV debut in a 2003 episode of 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter starring John Ritter, Katey Sagal, Martin Spanjers, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson, Mo Gaffney, and Kelsey Batelaan.  Later that year, she appeared in an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer starring  Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, Anthony Head, and Alyson Hannigan.

It was later in 2003 that Rachel landed her first series role as Summer Roberts in the show The O.C.  She co-starred with Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper), Kelly Rowan (Kirsten Cohen), Adam Brody (Seth Cohen), Ben McKenzie (Ryan Atwood), Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper), and Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen).  Rachel played the role of Summer until the show ended in 2007.

During her run on The O.C. Rachel also appeared in MADtv starring Lil' Mirkk, Michael McDonald, Debra Wilson, Bobby Lee, and Mo Collins; and That '70s Show starring Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Danny Masterson, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Wilmer Valderrama, and Don Stark.

In 2006 Rachel made her big screen debut in the film The Last Kiss co-starring Zach Braff, Jacinda Barrett, Casey Affleck, Eric Christian Olsen, Lauren Lee Smith,  Marley Shelton, Blythe Danner, Harold Ramis, Patricia Stasiak, and Lisa MacKay.

In 2011, Rachel starred in the film L!fe Happens with Krysten Ritter, Kate Bosworth, Justin Kirk, Andrea Savage, Geoff Stults, Jason Biggs, Fallon Goodson, Kristen Johnston, Seymour Cassel, and Rhys Coiro.

Lately in 2011, Bilson landed the starring role of Zoe Hart in Hart of Dixie co-starring Kaitlyn Black (Annabeth), Jaime King (Lemon Breeland), Ross Philips (Tom Long), McKaley Miller (Rose Hattenbarger), Scott Porter (George Tucker), and Cress Williams (Lavon Hayes).  This show will be airing next month as of the writing of this article.

We will be seeing more of Rachel in future films (thank goodness).  She currently is filming The To Do List co-starring Connie Britton, Aubrey Plaza, Andy Samberg, Nolan Gould, Alia Shawkat, Clark Gregg, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Glover, and Johnny Simmons.  This film is scheduled for relase in 2013.
